Your guide to Element Games North West Gaming Centre in Stockport — home of our RTT events. How to get there, where to park, and everything nearby.
The Venue
Our RTT events are held at the Element Games North West Gaming Centre — one of the UK's best known wargaming venues, above the Element Games store at Hallam Mill in Stockport. A dedicated gaming hall, a fully stocked hobby store downstairs, and a bar in the same building: everything you need for a full day of 40k.

Getting There
By Car
From the M60 (Manchester's ring road), exit at Junction 1 and join the A6 via Travis Brow and Heaton Lane. Follow the A6 south through Stockport, then turn right onto Hallam Street — the mill is on your left.
Coming from the south, follow the A6 north through Hazel Grove and turn left onto Hallam Street.
By Train
Davenport station is around an 8 minute walk away, with roughly hourly trains from Manchester Piccadilly.
Stockport mainline station is about a 22 minute walk (or a 5 minute taxi) — fast, frequent trains from Manchester Piccadilly and direct intercity services from London and Birmingham.
By Bus
The venue is just off the A6, one of the busiest bus corridors in Greater Manchester — the 192 between Manchester and Hazel Grove stops a short walk from Hallam Street.
Parking
Hallam Mill Car Park
Free parking in the mill car park — the entrance is around the back of the building. Spaces are limited, so car-share or arrive early if you can.
Street Parking
Free on-street parking is available on the surrounding residential streets — please park considerately and check the signs for any restrictions.
Facilities
Inside the gaming centre you'll find:
- A dedicated gaming hall with full-size tables
- The Element Games store downstairs — discounted Warhammer and hobby supplies if you need anything mid-event
- A bar serving drinks and snacks throughout the day
- Toilets on the same floor as the gaming hall
- Free WiFi
Food & Drink
At the Venue
The bar at the gaming centre serves drinks, snacks, and hot food — you don't need to leave the building between rounds.
Nearby
There are takeaways, cafés, and shops along the A6 within a few minutes' walk, and Stockport town centre — with supermarkets and plenty of restaurants — is about 20 minutes on foot.

Accessibility
The gaming centre is on the first floor of Hallam Mill, reached via stairs from the front entrance.
